Data si locul nasterii: 3 ianuarie 1973, Valenii de Munte, judetul Prahova.

Educatia: A absolvit Facultatea de Matematica, sectia matematica-cercetare a Universitatii Bucuresti in 1996.
Teza de doctorat: A sustinut doctoratul cu teza: "Noi rezultate in teoria inelelor graduate si a algebrelor Hopf" in anul 2000 la Universitatea din Bucuresti.
Pozitii academice: A fost preparator in perioada 1998-2000, asistent 2000-2002, iar din 2002 in prezent este Lector la Catedra de Algebra.
Domenii de interes stiintific: Teoria grupurilor, Inele si module graduate, Algebre Hopf, Teoria categoriilor, Algebre Lie, Grupuri cuantice.

Descriere succinta a proiectului de cercetare

Studiem cateva probleme de interes curent in teoria algebrelor hopf, legate de produse incrucisate, algebre hopf punctate, si teoria reprezentarii algebrelor hopf si generalizari. Vizam de asemenea sa extindem si sa studiem metode categoricale in algebre hopf, cum ar fi categorii monoidale, braided si tensoriale, si sa examinam cateva probleme generale categoricale legate de aceastea.
